ABOUT THE MUSIC

Night and stars that shine above so bright… Night isn’t really dark in the Sahara the sky is indigo blue illuminated by stars whose iridescence dances and bounces against the shimmering sands of the desert. In the distance, you see a caravan approaching, soft operatic vocals dip and fall like the wind, and they are accompanied by the Ude, African drums, trumpet, drums, and upright bass, bringing a fresh and new approach to a beloved standard.
